Sacré-Coeur Retreat Center

 

Sacré-Coeur Retreat Center is located in Magnolia, IL just outside of Henry, Illinois and is north of the intersection of Illinois Highway 26 and Illinois Highway 18.  The retreat center is located at the top of a steep bluff overlooking the Illinois River.  You can access the entrance off Route 26 via County Road 55 North and Spotted Dutchman Hill Road or off Route 18 via County Road 100N.  There are signs directing you into the center.

From the Quad Cities:

Take 80 East four (4) miles past Princeton to the Peoria/Hennepin exit. Take 180 South to Hennepin exit.  Go over the Illinois River to Route 26 (do not take Route 29 to Peoria).  Stay on Route 26 for about 10 miles until you see the sign for Sacre-Coeur Retreat Center located at County Road 55 North; turn left onto County Road 55 North/Spotted Dutchman Hill Road and it will bring you straight into the centers entrance.

 

From Bloomington:

Take Route 39 north to Route 18.  Go West (left) until you see the sign for Sacré-Coeur Retreat Center on the right at County Road 100 N.

From Peoria:

Take Route 29 North to Henry.  Go east (right) onto Route 18.  In inclement weather, continue on Route 18.  Turn left at Sacré-Coeur Retreat Center sign at County Road 100 North and continue to the end of the road; turn right at the entrance to the retreat center. 

 

In good weather, turn left and take Highway 26 North from Highway 18 about 1 mile to County Road 55 North/Spotted Dutchman Hill Road.  Turn Right and continue straight to the entrance of the retreat center.
